Acceleration and Funding Program for Social Inclusion Projects

The 4th edition of Scale4Impact is here, a program designed to drive the growth of social innovation initiatives led by companies, startups, and social entities that tackle the challenge of social inclusion for vulnerable groups, especially through employment and education. These initiatives should have a proven model (even if it is a test), be innovative, have the potential for profitability or sustainability, and generate high impact.

We are looking for social companies, startups or social entities that have:

  • Focus on social inclusion, especially through employment and education.
  • A project in operation and with first metrics.
  • A potentially profitable or self-sustaining business model.
  • A project based on an innovative idea.
  • Willingness to replicate or scale your project / model to maximize impact.

Projects meeting the following criteria will receive special consideration:

With a focus on the following marginalized communities: the unemployed/people in job or social precariousness, women, youth and children, and any group facing exclusion due to limited financial resources.

Program Stages

Submissions for applications

Until April 6th, 2025

We are seeking innovative projects that tackle social inclusion through education or employment, with sustainable business models and high impact. This program is designed for startups and social enterprises seeking growth, as well as established non-profit organizations with successful projects and with the potential for self-sustainability. The informative webinars are scheduled for March 12th and 25th. During these webinars, you will learn all about the accompaniment program, including its time commitment, content, and the €150,000 Venture Philanthropy fund. Additionally, you will hear from alumni projects about their experiences in the Scale4Impact program.

From April 28th to June 19th, 2023

8 projects will be selected for an initial assessment, followed by a series of preparatory webinars.

Impact Business Bootcamp

During the week of May 26th, the 8 selected projects will participate in an Impact Business Bootcamp, where they will:
   1) Refine their value propositions
   2) Receive training and mentorship on key topics such as impact measurement and investment readiness.

At the end of this phase, a final assessment will be conducted, and 3 projects will be chosen to move on to the final phase.

Project Development

From July 2025 to early February 2026

The 3 finalist projects will participate in an intensive acceleration program where, according to the needs of each project, they will receive personalized support, including strategic guidance in:
   1) Maximization of social impact
   2) Business model
   3) Commercial plan
   4) Team

The Ship2B Foundation team will conclude this phase with the validation of the social impact of each project and their investment readiness to access the Venture Philanthropy funding fund.

Venture Philanthropy Fund and Impact Investment Network

February 2026

The Scale4Impact program is complemented by a €150,000 fund, to be distributed among the projects, with a maximum of €75,000 and a minimum of €25,000 per project. The Ship2B Foundation will provide follow-up from the moment the funding is granted.

Finally, the accelerated projects will have the opportunity to participate in Ship2B Foundation events such as the Ship2B Impact Forum, where they can access our entire community, build alliances, secure funding, and more.
